About Us:

The Research Triangle area in North Carolina is home to high-tech companies, government institutions, and three well-known universities: North Carolina State University (NCSU), University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill), and Duke University (Duke). Therefore, it has attracted many people with advanced degrees to this region, including those who initially came from Taiwan or Taiwanese Americans growing up in the US.  The North Carolina-Taiwan Professional and Scholar Society (NCTPASS) was established in December 2019 as a non-profit organization by a group of Taiwanese professionals in this area.  The motivation was to create a platform for scholarly networking among professionals connected to Taiwan. Our members include faculty, scientists, administrators, and professionals from universities and industries in this area.

NCTPASS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization approved by Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization. Donations to NCT-PASS are tax deductible. Any donation will be used to host educational, scientific, or networking events that can benefit our members. Contact us for donation details.
